Hi there! It is I, Laura Lee. I’m here to get my blog on. Sincere apologizes for the extended delay. No need to get all crazy. We’re here now that’s all that matters. Right?

Right!


Alright, this time we're getting all fancy pants Asian dance all up in Pom's Signature Restaurant! Suckas! This Pan Asian Thai French style joint is hiding in Tapestry Park. There's no visible sign from the road. If you want to take your number one lady out for a Valentine's Day dinner, don't be a fool, make reservations and don't wear sweatpants. Oh, and it's next  to Lime Leaf.

This place was straight yo.  We each received a complimentary amuse bouche pictured below...

That's a crawdad. Gen (fellow Asian and Lance's roommate) said nay. Tisk tisk!

I think we were all a little excited about our appetizers and started chowing down before Lance remembered pictures...

Mine - Frog legs. It was the first time I had them. Not so much like chicken. They were not as tender as chicken and they do have a subtle fish taste.

Lance had duck spring rolls. I'm thankful for the sharing is caring rule cause it was the best spring roll I've ever tasted! They were very crispy.

 

Gen had coconut butter squash soup. I tried. Not my thing. You know, it was a cream base soup. I blame my taste buds. It was, however, Lance and Gen's thing.

And for the main course:

Lance had rama thai brown rice and springer mountian chicken.

Gen had holy basil [Batman!].

 I had peking duck. I was jealous of their rice, but I had spinach. I loves  me spinach, I yam what I yam (lame) toot-toot!

One guess what Gen and I had for dessert...

 

I must say, this creme brulee was off the chain! Raise the roof and such!

As always, I enjoyed myself and the company of Nubs and Gen.
